An eclectic modern take on folk music with a social and global consciousness. Their 1st release a tribute to comedy legend Billy Connolly was to raise funds and awareness for the Friends of the People's Palace and Winter Gardens. It received play on the Iain Anderson and Travelling Folk show on BBC Radio Scotland. The next batch of songs include historical reimaginings of 'Jacobites', climate change with 'This West Of Scotland Vegan Is Going To Do Your Nut In'. They have influences as varied as Flatt and Scruggs, Flight Of The Conchords, The Mighty Boosh, Robert Burns, The Proclaimers, Simon and Garfunkel, Limmy and the Humble Bums. Colonel John McMustard is the frontman of genre hopping ultimate festival band Colonel Mustard and The Dijon 5.
