About the event
One For The Road is a five piece band from Lanarkshire, Scotland comprising Colin (vocals & acoustic guitar), Iain (lead guitar), Nicola (vocals), Peter (drums) & Stuart (bass).
Their self written original songs are a carefully crafted blend of Americana & melodic rock, in the vein of such luminaries as Petty, Springsteen & Bowie, whilst drawing on their love of classic rock.
The band has gigged throughout Central Scotland with a full set of original songs, complimented by a selection of well matched classic covers which have been reworked in their own unique style. Recorded tracks have been aired regularly on radio stations as far afield as Australia & the USA as well as locally throughout the UK.

The Railwaymen are a five piece original music band, from Ayrshire, with their own brand of punchy rock americana. They have headlined twice at King Tuts and played notable gigs such as The Darvel Music Festival, Butefest and The Edinburgh Festival with the BBC. They have played Butefest again this year as well as supporting King of birds at Darvel later in the year. Their most recent mini album, “Dangerous” has just been released onto all the major platforms. We are looking to increase our audience through more festival gigs, as these are more suitable for original music. The following links will give you an idea of what we do.
The Social are a 4 piece indie band from Inverclyde, Scotland. The band consist of Thommy Campbell O'Hagan on lead vocals and guitar, Scott Morrison on lead guitar and backing vocals, Davie Shaw on bass and backing vocals and Bryan Power on Drums.
Formed in 2018, the band have played various gigs across west and central Scotland. They released their debut Album "Anti-Social" in autumn of 2019 which included the singles "Let You Down" and "Your Own Way". As well as playing various venues over the past few years the band are also no strangers to the festival scene having played Happy Daze, Doon The WatterRevival and Gig on the Green. While locked up due to Covid the band kept busy writing new material and single "The Writing's on the Wall" was released in 2021 which was followed by their “Red EP” in early 2022
The band continue to write new material and will be back in the recording studio real soon to start work on a new album. They have also been keeping busy over the summer with a few festival appearances along with some more local gigs.
